Melon Seed Payasam

  • Watermelon Seeds 1 Cup
  • Sugar 1 Cup 
  • Milk ½ Cup

Direction: 

  • Wash and rub the seeds over a rough surface sprinkling little water and rice flour. (This removes outer green skin).
  •  Wash well with water.
  • Grind to smooth paste sprinkling enough water.
  • Mix with milk, sugar and heat in a heavy deep curved pan.
  • Do not stir in circular motion.
  • Stir once or twice in between from down to up gently. (To prevent burning underneath)
  • Keep in reduced flame till it curdles and gets a shine. (Till raw smell is gone)
